Graduate with Distinction

The Honors Program allows students to create their own experience, taking as many-or as few-Honors courses as they wish. Students who complete at least 21 Honors course hours and maintain a grade-point average of 3.25 in their general courses and a 3.5 in their Honors courses graduate with Distinction as a University Scholar.

Students who graduate with Distinction as a University Scholar are recognized in the Commencement program and with special stoles to wear with their caps and gowns. It is a mark of excellence valued by both employers and graduate schools.
