Merritt Moseley Scholarship Application

The Merritt Moseley Study Abroad Scholarships offer awards of $250 to UNC Asheville Honors students to pursue enriching and meaningful international learning opportunities. Two scholarships will be awarded annually, and all award winners must commit to making a presentation about their experience at the annual Honors Study Abroad Program.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Students should be enrolled in an academic, credit-earning international experience or participating in an international academic conference
Students must maintain full-time status (at least 12 credit hours) if studying abroad for a semester
Student must be making successful progress toward graduation
Minimum 3.25 GPA and membership in the Honors Program

Record of participation in UNCA Honors Program curricular, co-curricular and enrichment activities
Financial Need
The Essay (see below, Section C) stating the rationale for the international learning opportunity
